Hi Everyone, Namaste !
Bara or Wo is delicious pancake made from lentil. Newars from Kathmandu valley in Nepal use this very often. Especially for some happy occasions like wedding, or festival (JATRA).
It is often used with Newari set lunch called ‘Samhebaji’. It is served for the goodluck for beloved ones which is called ‘Sagun’.

Ingredients for making authentic Nepali/Newari BARA.
1. For authentic and Traditional BARA / WO:
Black lentils
Salt
Ginger/Garlic paste
Coriander(Optional)

2. For meat BARA / WO:
Black lentils
Chicken meat
Salt
Ginger/Garlic paste
Chilli Powder
Coriander(Optional)

3. For Egg BARA / WO:
Black lentils
Salt
Ginger/Garlic paste
Egg
