Learn how to make Carrot Cake – Healthy Baked Dessert Recipe by Annuradha Toshniwal

Bring a twist to your regular homemade cakes and make carrot cake instead. Chef Annuradha Toshniwal make a very simple to make quick homemade dessert recipe.

Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil
250 gms honey
1 cup sugar
1 cup mIlk
1.5 tbsp vanilla essence

Dry Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
3/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp soda bicarb
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp salt

3 cups grated carrots
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

– Beat the wet ingredients together using a beater till all the sugar dissolves.
– Add dry ingredients to it and beat it lightly
– Add carrots, raisins, walnuts and mix everything well using hands and no beater
– Put the mixture in a baking tray for baking in a preheated oven at 220c and bake for an approx time of 30 – 40 mins
– Once baked scrape from the sides of the tray, take it out, cool it down and serve at normal room temperature!
